Directions to the Knipe Lab

From South of Boston:

Take I-93 North to exit 26 (Cambridge/ Storrow Drive). Keep left at end of ramp and take underpass to Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow drive approximately 2.5 miles to Kenmore Square. Take leftmost fork at intersection onto Brookline Avenue. Follow Brookline Avenue for approximately 2 miles (Beth Israel Hospital will be on the left). Watch for blue and white Longwood Medical Area signs.

From North of Boston:

Take I-93 South to exit 26 (Storrow Drive/ North Station). Keep left at end of ramp and take underpass to Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow Drive approximately 2.5 miles to Kenmore Square. Take leftmost fork at intersection onto Brookline Avenue. Follow Brookline Avenue for approximately 2 miles (Beth Israel Hospital will be on the left). Watch for blue and white Longwood Medical Area signs.

From West of Boston:

Take I-90 East to end onto I-93 North. Take I-93 North to exit 26 (Cambridge/ Storrow Drive). Keep left at end of ramp and take underpass to Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow Drive approximately 2.5 miles to Kenmore Square. Take leftmost fork at intersection onto Brookline Avenue. Follow Brookline Avenue for approximately 2 miles (Beth Israel Hospital will be on the left). Watch for blue and white Longwood Medical Area signs.

Harvard University Shuttle:

The Medical School Shuttle (M2) (link opens in new window) operates all day shuttle service between Johnston Gate and the Longwood Medical Area year round, Monday through Saturday. You may use tickets purchased in advance or a valid Harvard University ID.

MBTA:

Take the Green Line E Branch (link opens in new window) to the Longwood Medical Area Station. Cross Huntington Avenue to get onto Longwood Avenue. Walk past Massachusetts College of Pharmacy on right and Harvard School of Dental Medicine on left. You will see the Harvard Medical School quadrangle on your left. To reach Knipe Lab in the Armenise Building walk into the Harvard Medical School quadrangle and pass through the first set of glass doors on your left.
